Vast, 25,000 light-year-tall areas of collisions between highly energetic electrons and low-energy photons radiating above and below supermassive black hole Sgr A* at the center of our galaxy, possibly created millions of years ago when the black hole was swallowing material at the galactic center and shooting it out from its poles at near light speed by magnetic flux:
